The Russians

In 1953 Joseph Stalin was mere days from death when a young peasant was brought to him who displayed extra-ordinary abilities, one might say super human abilities.  Stalin's death threw the Soviet Union into turmoil and the only one that remembered that boy was Nikita Khrushchev.  It was a trump card he held for just the right moment. When President John F. Kennedy stood fast during the Cuban Missile Crisis, Khrushchev knew the time was about right to present the world with the first superhuman and on May 9, 1963, the world changed with the debut of the Red Guard.
The world watched the exploits of the Red Guard as it was regularly reported by the Soviet Press and many waited for the young man born in 1940 to begin to show signs of aging.  Now over seventy, Red Guard still remains in his prime but other metahumans have appeared and like the Americans, the Russian Federation has gather a team for the same reasons as the US, self-defense.  Herein is the new roster of the Russian equivilant of the Minutemen, the Guards.

Red Guard
the world's first superhero

Black Wasp

the armoured genius
Chernobyl

Ivan the Fool

Katyusha

NOTE: this is a damn game not a political statement.
