Prison Love

All that I am, sits behind cold barred steel,

He is the one that makes me feel real.

I can’t find the words to say how I feel.

I just know with him it’s the real deal.

This world is not ready for one like me

It makes me want to let my life flee

But he keeps me safe, he is life’s key

Oh god how I wish he was free.

He is what keeps me here today.

He is the reason I start each day.

He is the one who guards my way

With out him, there is no reason to stay

Being without him brings me so much pain

I let this happen, I have no right to complain.

I love him so much, I must be going insane.

For only him, I must stay in this domain
