1) Shadow Form: Shape Shift (Sight, Hearing and Touch Groups, a shadow of anything), Imitation, Instant Change, Costs END Only To Change Shape (+1/4); Must occupy an existing shadow that is large enough to contain her @ 8 sq ft. (-3/4) plus Clinging (normal STR) (10 Active Points); Linked (Shape Shift; -1/2)
Notes: This allows her to become just like a shadow i.e. two dimensional, and conform to any surface (Clinging). The shadow can be any shape, a person, a tree, a mailbox. She must take the shape of an existing shadow so she cannot appear as a random shadow that doesn't have a corrisponding physical object. In all respect she looks like nothing but a shadow, and even feels, and sounds like the surface beneath the shadow. Think of her as a coat of paint on whatever. She is still able to speak, and be heard, touch something and effect it, fart and be smelled. These are all things that she can consciously control. Her Shapeshifting allows her to stift whatever she is wearing or carrying as well.

2) Shadowy Existance: Physical Damage Reduction, Resistant, 50% plus Energy Damage Reduction, Resistant, 50%; Conditional Power Power Does Not Work Against Light-based Attacks (-1/4)
Notes: She ability to become as a shadow reduces any damage that is done to her.

Notes: If the new shadow is of a markedly different shape i.e. car shape to tree shape, then she must make adjustments to her shape. If the original shadow can be overlapped by the second, it would not be necessary to alter her shape.

Player Name: NPC
APPEARANCE
Hair Color: Chestnut
Eye Color: Brown
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 103 lbs
Description:
Kelley is a slender, very attractive young woman with chestnut hair and brown eyes.
BACKGROUND
The summer she hit puberty, she noticed a growing discomfort at being outside during during the middle of the day. At first it wasn't obvious, even to her, but after about a week her best friend remarked how it always seemed Kelley disappeared when the sun was high. Once it was brought to her attention, she realized that she'd been spending all of her mid-days out of direct sunlight.
POWERS/TACTICS
Anywhere with a shadow, whether is is caused by the sun or normal artificial light, she is comfortable. She can teleport between two shadows if they are within her range, and effectively disappear. She can also call on the chill of a shadow to protect herself, or envelope someone in shadows and hold them trapped. The power to smother a target in shadows is one she prefers not to consider. While it is not lethal be any means, the one time she was forced to use it, resulted in her assailant having a psychological break down. How was she to know that person had a phobia of suffocating?
PERSONALITY/MOTIVATION
Kelley is not particularly interested in being a superhero but she has been willing to work with the Minuteman Project to get in a little training and to see exactly what she can do with her powers. She prefers to shy away from confrontation and will go out of her way to avoid it. She personality is pretty much what most people, i.e. men, expect from a librarian. Her looks and quiet nature tend to draw in more than her fair share of 'admirers' who sometimes won't take 'no' for an answer. In those cases she will, without heistation, use her powers to escape. Problem there is her 'suitor' knows where to find her the next time the library opens. Since she works in a college library, the odds are good she will have to deflect several come-ons every day..
CAMPAIGN USE
Born on June 4, 1987 in Battle Creek MI, to an English teacher father and a book store owning mother, Kelley got her love of books via genetics it could be said. She grew up in the book store and was reading way beyond 'Dick and Jane' by the time she actually started school. Currently Kelley is an assistant librarian at the University of Michigan's Shapiro Undergraduate Library while working on her Doctorate.
DESIGN NOTES
Born 06/04/87 Battle Creek, Michigan. Dislikes to be reminded that her middle name is Spring.
