BACKGROUND | |||||
Born and raised in Casper, WY (pop. @55000) on Sept. 8, 1985. Attended Oregon Trail Elementary followed by CY Middle School and finally Natrona County High School. In high school she was a star on the Cross Country team and was also involved with the Quill and Scroll Honor Society and was on the NCHS Speech and Debate team. For exorcises she played golf at her parents’ country club, the Paradise Valley Country Club, as well as hiking the trails of Casper Mountain. She did a bit of white water rafting as well. Her favorite place to eat was the Silver Fox Steak House where she inevitably ordered a Black and Blue burger. Upon graduating high school, she applied to and was accepted at her parents’ alma mater Michigan State at Ann Arbor. As required of freshmen, she found housing at the Betsy Barbour House. During that year she dated three upper classmen with no relationship lasting more than two months. As soon as she was able, she began a hunt for new housing, something less … chaotic. The place she found was perfect, with all the necessary amenities and close to the campus. The $3000 monthly rent was a little daunting. It was only by accident she ran across Tamsen Proudfoot during a party. Now Autumn can drink just about anyone under the table but it already looked like Tamsen was there, literally. Autumn dragged her to her feet and steered her toward the door eliciting several protests from a couple of very drunk frat boys. Autumn told them to go back and have a drink on her and they did. She knew what she was doing, of course. It was the first time she’d made a conscious effort to use her ‘powers’ to command anyone. Tamsen by that time was mostly on her feet, missing one shoe, but it was only a couple blocks to Autumn’s place. Since all the drunk girl had on her was about fifty bucks and no key, she could either ‘dig’ it out of her drunk self or just let her sleep it off. Well, it was a furnished apartment so Autumn dropped the girl into the second bedroom and pulled off her one shoe. Coffee was ready the next morning when Tamsen staggered out of the bedroom looking bewildered. “Where am I?” She navigated toward the coffee. “Okay if I have some?” Autumn handed her a mug and sat at the small round dining room table. “I’m Autumn, what’s your name?” “How’d I get here?” “I brought you here.” “I remember some woman ordering a bunch of guys to leave me alone. “And that would be me.” Autumn sipped her coffee. “Uh … I’m Tamsen Proudfoot.” She took a gulp of her coffee, black, and Autumn could almost see it coursing through her body. The other woman looked her up and down and half smiled. “Did we …?” “No, I just couldn’t leave you laying under that table waiting for the guys to gather up and to star in a new ‘college party girl and the frat boys’ video.” “They were going to do that?” Autumn nodded. “What’s your story?” Autumn asked. Tamsen shrugged, “Usual, met the wrong guy, moved in with him for six months, he loses his scholarship and goes home. Means I had to pack my shit into my car and get out.” “Well that sucks, you want to get something to eat?” The other girl patted her pockets finding nothing, “I was robbed too?!” Autumn produced the two twenties and the ten. “I was hoping for some way of identifying you. You just went limp and I stuff the money in a pocket to pick you up.” “Thanks …” she said taking the bills. “I might be able to a room for a couple nights. I hope I can get a job by then.” “I have a spare room as you can see, you’re welcome to it.” “Why would you do that? You don’t even know me.” Autumn gave her a little smile. “I am a psychologist, I read people pretty quickly.” It was an understatement. Autumn had been brushing over Tamsen’s surface thoughts since she’d stepped out of the bedroom. She knew Tamsen was Chickasaw from Oklahoma and that she’d gotten to Michigan on a meager scholarship for her tribe. Now, with her boyfriend deserting her, she was homeless and pretty much broke with a whole year of classes paid for and no place to live. “What kind of work are you looking for?” “Anything that lets me keep in most of my clothes but I’d really like to get into a garage and fix cars. Nobody believes a girl looking like me is a gearhead.” “Tell you what,” Autumn began. “You help me find a great car, and I’ll let you stay until you get a job. After that, you can kick in some rent.” “This place has gotta be outrageous!” “Depends on your point of view,” Autumn admitted. “From mine, it’s pretty reasonable. Let’s get food and we can talk about it then.” “How far’s the nearest dining hall?” “About two blocks but I was thinking Angelo’s. |

POWERS/TACTICS | |||||
Autumn is a world class mentalist with a wide variety of mental powers, from Telepathy to Mind Control. She is also able to 'suggest' large numbers of people, strike someone blind and drain a person's EGO making them more susceptible to her other powers. For a mentalist, she is surprisingly agile and fast though her strength is only that of an average woman her age. She does not fly, or teleport and must rely on her leg power to get around when in costume. She might not be very fast but since her powers are all LOS, most of the time it doesn't matter. Her CON allows her to get by on several catnaps in a 24 hour period, so she does have to sleep, just not all that much. Can run a marathon in an average 2 hours 5 minutes |
