Gwen handled the change from the old school to the new with aplomb, maintaining her social standing, as nothing other than the building had changed ... until the Right-Wingers started coming in. It wasn't bad, that first year; the Right-Wingers stayed to themselves and didn't rock the boat. It was that second year of Right-Wingers that screwed everything up. It wasn't anything unusual; she'd done it dozens of times. Some girl walking all hunched over, hugging her books like there were going to protect her from something. It was easy, just a quick flip of the wrist and everything hit the floor. The girl was this bag-lady, all gray and brown with no style and obviously from Old Towne or something. Daddy probably didn't even hang around to see if she was a boy or girl. Her mother was probably on the pole or something. Who cared anything about her? Turns out, someone did.

After being humiliated in front of her peers, Gwen has taken an instant dislike for Alicia Cross. She cannot understand how a gorgeous hunk like Slater Monroe would want to have anything to do with a frump like Alicia and has made it her mission to seduce Slater away from her. She is a bitch even to her 'friends' and tends to use her family's affluence as a club to beat down anyone perceived as 'poor', i.e. most everyone in the school. Any conversation with someone not of her clique, or a jock, is condescending, snotty, or outright mean. Until that moment with Alicia and Slater, her role in the school was secure and of this she had no doubt. Now her position is threatened and it is all Alicia's fault! SHE put that new girl, Chris Gilchrist, up to trying out for cheerleader, but she'll show Alicia. She'll not only take Slater away from Alicia, but her 'best friend' also!
With the recent addition of a three Right-Wing class, Gwen as also taken up lording it over them as well. In particularly she works on Thomas and spreads rumors about Snowy's living situation with Ben. Ave is also reportedly living with Nat and Wren in a menage a trois, while Dusk and Mike are having at each other ... none of these can in any way be attributed to Gwen, of course. She'd never say anything like that or spread any rumors.

Genevieve began as a small encounter that allowed Alicia to understand that Slater Monroe was not just another jock teasing the poor ugly girl, that he ment it when he said "I'm Slater, and you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen."
