Description:
Her blonde hair is far from unique as Europeans have been intermarrying with the peoples of Vietnam for over a century. Her ancestor just happens to be French rather than the more common American.
BACKGROUND
Born Jan 15, 1994, Vietnam. Comes from the Ly Son District, a small volcanic island off the central Vietnam. Family of fishermen. Discovered her powers, in this case the Mind Blast, during an assault by the son of a powerful local fish market owner. Once he was unconscious she found his mind open to her and realizing the danger of her 'attack' on the boy, discover the power to make him forget the immediate past. After the American annoucement on Jul 4, 2009 she debated whether to volunteer to her government. It was several months before she worked up the nerve to reveal herself. The Goverenment accepted her instantly and while there was some distrust initially on both sides, her ability to discern the truth forced the Government to treat her far more fairly then one might expect from a Communist system. While they have offered to provide monetary recompense she has only taken a small stipend that allows her family to operate their fishing boat without fear of losing it.
POWERS/TACTICS
She has many 'classical' mentalist powers involving Mind Control and Telepathy. She does not have any telekinetic powers which might allow her to erect a force field/wall or fly. Her defense, 'Combat luck' is based on her awareness of an incoming attack so any surprise attack will pretty much leave her vulnerable to any attack. The Vietnamese government has precurred a suit of body armor design to reduce the chances to her being seriously injured.
Her skill set is consistant with the daughter of an fairly successful fisherman and she has no brother to take on the family business. She is still learning the basics of the job which includes everything from navigation to small engine repair.
PERSONALITY/MOTIVATION
Her primary reason for offering up her services to the government is to help her family and prevent innocent people from being run over by the legal system. She has successfully cleared a number of accused and found the real culpert to the satisfaction of government. So far she has not been called in to 'frame' a political target or business man, nor 'clear' anyone who is actually guiilty. The government thinks her a simple peasant girl and does not realize her true intelligence. This 'simple peasant girl' personna she fosters.
CAMPAIGN USE
The Vietnamese government is fully aware of her and uses her judiciously to discover the truth in a given situation. Under normal circumstances she will be called in to 'read' a suspect or witness often without their noticing. In case of a more 'hard headed' subject she will use 'Deep Telepathy' to dig out the truth.
