20 Hunted: HARP 11- (As Pow; PC is easy to track through the Media; Harshly Punish)
Notes: Notes: This has increased from 8- after a character becomes known to the Media. Because of that media coverage, it is fairly easy to find the character if necessary.
10 Hunted: Paparazzi 11- (As Pow; NCI; Watched)
0 Psychological Limitation: In love with Nathaniel Ryan (Common; Total)
10 Psychological Limitation: Protective of innocents (Common; Moderate)
10 Psychological Limitation: Rebellious in the face of authority (Common; Moderate)
10 Psychological Limitation: Snarky/aloof/jaded (Common; Moderate)
10 Reputation: Daughter of famous parents, 11-
15 Social Limitation: Secret Identity (Frequently; Major)
0 Social Limitation: Subject to orders/missions (Occasionally; Major)
Notes: Unless there is a huge uptick in metahuman crime, the usual calls are for assistance in emergencies such as ships sinking, skyscraper fires, earthquakes, flooding, etc.
10 Watched: The Media 11- (Less Pow; NCI; PC appearances are generally announced; Watched)
Notes: This is used post-offical team announcement and indicates the chances of various International, Nation and or Local Media outlets. This also represents the chances of paparazzi or just the people on the street with Cell Phones.
0 Watched: U.S. Government 8- (Mo Pow; NCI; PC is very easy to find; Watching)
Notes: While the Government isn't specifically Watching, they are aware of where to find and how to contact.

POWERS
Cost  Power END
75 Gravitic Control: Multipower, 75-point reserve, all slots Reduced Endurance (1/2 END; +1/4) (94 Active Points); all slots Does Not Work If Target Has Gravity-based Powers (-1/4)
4u
1) Floor Paint: Telekinesis (50 STR); Vertical movement only (-1/2)
Notes: This power increases or decreases the gravity effecting the target. It can be used to pin the target to the ground or suspend them in the air. She may not move them in any way otherwise. If the target is of sufficent stength, it is possible for them to break free.
3
4u
2) Floor Paint, Room-size: Telekinesis (22 STR), Area Of Effect (3" Radius; +1), Selective (+1/4); Vertical movement only (-1/2)
Notes: This power allows Giselle to effect the gravity over a wider area but reduces the strength she can exert. This is the power she used to protect her parents and herself during the HARP Robot attack on their limo. She will also use it to float everything in the area if she is annoyed. As inanimate are usually at 0 ODC, she only needs to 'attack' the animate things.
3
5u
3) Gravity Awning: Force Wall (9 PD; 20" long and 2" tall) (Varying Dimensions); Visible (-1/4)
Notes: Normally Giselle uses this power to create a horizontal wall of force suspended 4 meters in the air. It will cover up to 20 hexes in whatever shape needed. It is normally used to cover an area where there is a risk of falling debris hitting innocent bystanders. When used it pulls in small bits of dust/dirt/sand and incorporates it into the wall, making it easy to see. It resembles an awning with pillars of force in the corners and people may enter and leave it at will.
3
6u
4) Gravity Blast: Energy Blast 12d6, Indirect (Same origin, always fired from the ground up; +1/4)
Notes: This is a blast of actual gravity that must come from the Earth itself and can only strike upward.
3
5u
5) Gravitic Bounce: Energy Blast 10d6, Autofire (5 shots; +1/2); No Knockback (-1/4)
Notes: This is a gravity yoyo where the target is bounced repeatedly off the floor/ground. Imagine the Hulk with Loki ...
3
4u
6) Gravitic Cancellation: Flight 6", Ranged (+1/2), No Gravity Penalty (+1/2), Usable As Attack (x8,192 maximum weight per inanimate target; (@ 900 tons); +4 1/4); Vertical movement only (-1/2)
Notes: This power allows Giselle to cancel the gravity on any single living target or any inanimate object weighting less than about 900 tons. This is how she lifted the Seine River barge.
3
5u
7) Gravitic Slam: Energy Blast 15d6; No Knockback (-1/4)
Notes: This power instantly increases the gravity on the target @10 fold.
3
4u
8) Gravitic Yoyo: Flight 12", Ranged (+1/2), No Gravity Penalty (+1/2), Usable As Attack (+1) (72 Active Points); Vertical Movement Only (-1/2)
Notes: This power is used to lift a target and suspend it helpless. The target can be lifted for any number of phases then dropped if need be. It is commonly used to 'yoyo' a target to keep them disoriented.
3
4u
9) Stratospheric Toss: Teleportation 8", No Relative Velocity, MegaScale (1" = 1 km; +1/4), Ranged (+1/2), Usable As Attack (+1); Vertical Movement Only (-1/2)
Notes: With this power Giselle can hurl a target to @26000 ft instantly (if she is feeling gentle, she might not send the target the entire distance but only a kilometer). How they get down is their problem. Note 2: Teleport does not have a gravity penalty.
3
6u
10) Weightless: Minor Transform 7 1/2d6 (standard effect: 22 points) (Weighted to weightless, cancelled by time or being 'turned off')
Notes: May take two phases to become effective. Making a target weightless allows Goliath to throw things a great distance.
3
60 Gravitic Shield: Force Field (20 PD/20 ED), Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2)
Notes: This is a gravity field powerful enough to cause a warp in the gravity well surrounding Giselle.
0
39 Gravitic Point Defense: Missile Deflection (Any Ranged Attack), +9 with Missile Deflection, Usable Simultaneously (up to 4 people at once; +3/4); Costs Endurance (-1/2)
Notes: With this power Giselle can deflect incoming attacks, physical or energy, against her or anyone standing within arms reach up to 4 people.
6
12 Everything Floats: Telekinesis (10 STR), Affects Porous, Reduced Endurance (1/2 END; +1/4), Area Of Effect (6" Radius; +1 1/4); No Conscious Control (-2), Only To Cause Objects/People To Float A Few Inches Off The Floor/Ground (-2), Affects Whole Object (-1/4)
Notes: Things tend to float a little around Giselle if she is upset. Nothing major, just a few inches or so. This include people, tables, chairs, potted plants, water, sand, rocks, everything weighing less than about 220 pounds.
3
42 Sense Location: Detect Location Of Items/People Upon Whom She Has Altered Gravity 14- (no Sense Group), Discriminatory, Increased Arc Of Perception (360 Degrees), Sense, Telescopic: +41, Tracking
Notes: This allows Giselle to keep track of objects/people upon which she has altered gravity (Weightlessness) allowing her to 'turn off' the power at anytime, or that she has Stratospheric Tossed giving her an opportunity to catch them should she wish to. She can track a target out to 3775 miles/6291 kilometers without penalty.
0
24 Sense Mass: Detect A Single Thing (Mass) 14- (no Sense Group), Discriminatory, Analyze, Increased Arc Of Perception (360 Degrees), Range
Notes: This power allows Giselle to determine the weight of objects based on their 'gravity well'.
0
28 Jete: Leaping +18" (20" forward, 20" upward), No Gravity Penalty (+1/2)
Notes: By reducing the gravity on herself at the moment of leaping, Giselle is able to make impressive leaps.
3
20 Very Hard to Read: Mental Defense (22 points total)0
10 Gravity Parachute: Gliding 5", Ranged (+1/2), Usable As Attack (+1), Area Of Effect (4" Radius; +1 1/2), Selective (+1/4); Requires A DEX Roll to avoid 5d6 fall damage on landing (-1/2), no Noncombat movement (-1/4), Costs Endurance (Only Costs END to Activate; -1/4)
Notes: This is a more limited form of Weightlessness that reduces the target's weight to just enough for gravity to affect them. This results in a the slowing of a descent by reducing the fall speed by 5" per phase until the speed is 5". As this is a 'fire and forget' power, the recipient is in full control. It will automatically cancel upon landing.
2
3 Floating Like a Feather: Gliding 5"; Requires DEX-roll Avoid falling Damage Equal To 1d6 per 1" Velocity (-1/2), no Noncombat movement (-1/4)0

Character Name: Giselle
Alternate Identities: Wren Collins
Player Name: Lauren
APPEARANCE
Hair Color: Deep red, shaggy, straight, just past her shoulders
Eye Color: Blue (contacts)
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 130 lbs
Description:
Not long after Wren Collins ‘transferred’ to the government operated high school on Point Loma, San Diego, a freelance photographer snapped two photos of her at perpetual beach party before being chased off by a half dozen of Nathaniel’s surfer buddies. Already well-known to the tabloids overseas, the single picture of her, bikini clad, on the cover of that week’s Enquirer increased her recognition factor in the southern California city.
Realizing Wren’s celebrity would be a problem once the Legacy team began to operate, Nathaniel insisted she don some form of disguise to hide her identity. Since she immediately vetoed any form of mask they decided upon simple stage makeup. Unsure as to whom they could trust, Nathaniel contacted a makeup expert arrived from Hollywood.
The result did absolutely nothing to hide Wren’s beauty but the shaggy dark red wig and few subtle prosthetics altered her appearance sufficiently to fool all but her few friends. In conjunction with the red, white and blue form-fitting leather body armor and long trench coat Wren Collins became invisible behind Giselle.
BACKGROUND
For the longest time, Wren Collins refused to take a codename as not only didn’t they seem to fit her but more often made her wince visibly. Zach suggested Gravity Queen and discovered just how much he liked gravity after watching an airliner pass by at nearly 40000 feet. Slater suggested Gravi-lass and it was only at Alicia’s insistence that Wren NOT put him in orbit that he escaped bodily harm. It was Nathaniel that found the answer. One night, not long after he had met Wren, they sat together watching a ballet with Wren patiently explaining the story. Giselle.

Wren is 21 and in her third year at UCLA.
POWERS/TACTICS
Giselle’s capacity to control gravity has improved markedly. Not only has she strengthened her powers but, with Nathaniel’s help, discovered subtle variations. Once only able to cancel gravity enough to allow an object to slowly float up she has found the power to actually use gravity to repulse an object allowing her to hurl something into the stratosphere.
Though she has been afraid to test it on a living creature she has been able to render an object weightless apparently on a permanent basis. For her single test she made a 55 gallon oil drum weightless and watched it slowly sail out of sight. In the news the next day was a report of a UFOC, Unidentified Flying Oil Can, which was intercepted over Edwards Air Force Base to the northeast of San Diego. Reports stated the trash can was approached at 53,000 feet by an F-22 Raptor and ordered to land. It did not comply. Wren speculates the corollas effect of the rotating Earth will eventually place the can in orbit and possibly beyond. Zach suggested she offer her services to NASA for launching the shuttle.
In conjunction with her dance, Wren has learned to control gravity’s effect on her allowing for fantastic leaps she will never be able to display on stage but which allow her to all but fly. On occasion she has also minimized the gravity for Nathaniel, and with Wren in his arms, they have covered vast distances in minutes.
Finally, at Nathaniel’s insistence, Wren has agreed to wear a supple leather body suit backed with Q's latest ballistic mesh to reduce the likelihood of an injury before she is able to erect her Gravitic Shield. Again at Nathaniel’s insistence, her Giselle wig has also been lined with the same weave.
In concordance with her dance, Giselle has become something of a master of Savate, the classical French style of kick fighting. Though she is nowhere near as accomplished as Venatrix, she is quite able to handle herself in nearly any physical confrontation with every expectation of coming out on top, as Nathaniel can attest.
PERSONALITY/MOTIVATION
Four years have passed since their hasty departure from the Valley and Wren’s life has been very different from what came before. The rock-solid dedication of Nathaniel Ryan has finally proven to her such things as love are possible. Though they remained in separate rooms for the first two years it eventually became obvious it was not from a lack of willingness on either’s part but Nathaniel’s fear of injuring her. After their night together in Cabo San Lucas Nathaniel was finally confident that it was possible for Wren to sleep in his arms without danger of his crushing her and from that point, their relationship has strengthened.
The other ‘change’ has been the bi-weekly visits to the White Tree in the Valley. At first Wren refused to go but after Everith pleaded with Nathaniel to bring her, she discovered how much she’d missed the angelic teacher and agreed to accompany Nathaniel on the next trip.
Surprisingly she discovered true friends. Everith, of course, but also Kyle, whom she came to love like a brother, and Rogue became like a sister, even the fearsome Nick proved to be an interesting creature. Within a month’s time the trip to the Valley had become a reason for little parties but when James showed up one day with Pam and little Becky it became like an extended family.
In San Diego, in the Legacy, Wren found another family but in this case she played mother to Nathaniel’s father as they struggled to mold their ‘children’ into a cohesive team. The addition of Brittany and Kena has added the kid-sisters and at times Wren found out exactly what it was like to be the mother of rebellious teens. It made her smile to think that not long ago, she’d been that teen. So this was responsibility.
Giselle’s attitude has shifted as her relationship with both Goliath and her team gives her greater confidence and sense of responsibility. While she remains as snarky as ever she has begun to accept the duties her country is asking of her and is less likely to verbally respond when being given orders. Of course it isn’t always the case. With Goliath’s coaching she is also becoming more comfortable with her powers and often sees alternate possibilities for their uses nearly as quickly as her lover.
On the public side, her time spent at the beach near their cottage has come to the attention of the paparazzi and though her friends try to deter photographers, they are not always successful. Tabloids and entertainment gossips are rife with speculation as to just how long it will be before some major studio approaches the stunning young woman with a movie contract. Privately, she has no intention of following either her mother or father into their chosen professions. She tells Nathaniel she’d probably be a total bitch to work with. He just smiles and agrees.
