Description:
Radell is a powerfully build man in his late fifties whose hair and beard are going to gray.
BACKGROUND
A fighter in his youth who was part of an invasion force sent into the Thimblebark Forest by a local baron with designes on elvish lands. During an attack on an elvish village, Radel witnessd the slaughter of a number of elvish women and children by his force and realized how wrong it was. Though only a lower fighter in the line, Radell's sudden attacks against his fellows proved enough of a distraction to allow a larger elvish force to arrive. In the end, Only Randell remained of the invading army and the elves who had seen his shift in loyalities testified to his deeds saving him from joining his former comrades.
POWERS/TACTICS
Though he is older, nearly 40 years older, than he was during his time with the invasion force, Randell has not lost the skills that had enabled him to so successfully hold that force in check long enough for elvish reinforcements. A powerful fighter with a preference for a heavy hammer, Randell is still formitable in battle, something that rarely comes up. When it does, however, the cause of such encounters is always the one to back down, usually after having a limb smashed by the smith.
PERSONALITY/MOTIVATION
Radell is a good man who loves his wife and daughter and respects and honors the elves and their way of life. Though he will never be fully accepted, he toils tirelessly on behalf of his addopted people, going so far as to act the wandering blacksmith to keep an eye on the temper of the lords and barons surrounding the Thimblebark.
