Stellar, like many heroes underwent radical, physical changes when he first changed. His "inorganic body" is a construct of an exotic unknown new matter. Any close or distant observer, appears to see a glimpse into deep space when viewing any portion of his exposed or non-covered part of his body.

Due to his fathers contact with DARPA, Stellar has a state of the art, highly resistant, combat uniform.

Hector is permanently stuck in his current "Stellar ID". Due to his transformation into his "Stellar Form", Hector is now a special task operator/soldier for the US government and allies. This is not his contact, but does reap some of the benefits due mostly to his fathers connections as a Senator.

Age: Recently turned 21.
“My name is Alonso DelaCruz.”
“I am a Senior Airman in the Air & Space Program.”
“Prepare to talk Quantum Mechanics.”

Alonso is originally from a small town in Flandreau, South Dakota, living on the Indian Reservation by the same name. Born from the union of a mix family, Hector DelaCruz and Mourning Dove Two Horses.
At an early age, Alonso established himself as a bright, intelligent child with exceptional skills in math & science. Unfortunately, being a member of one of the poorest indigenous tribes in the Midwest, Alonso had to find a way to make his way…a way out of the Rez.
“Being a smart and gifted learner, will provide you with a chance to attend the schools and institutions you wish to attend to become an Astronaut. But, it will not pay for your education.” his mother reminded him when he complained that he never had fun.

At the age of 16, Alonso suffered his first loss. His mother succumb to cancer before seeing him graduate. This only made Alonso, fight harder than he had before, in the hopes he could make his mother proud.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, Alonso’s father, Hector DelaCruz, a well-liked and duly appointed politician in his state; from behind the scenes, pulled strings and ensured Alonso education would be paid for by his connections and ultimately through the military.

By the time he was a Senior in High School, Alonso had advanced through several junior and mid-level military schools, and therefore promised an opportunity to join the Air & Space Program after his first tour of duty in the Air Force. With his dream, intelligence and will, Alonso reminded himself, he was different because he was driven to achieve and prove he deserved everything his father gave him. Yet even with all his academics and accomplishments, a tiny seed of doubt still troubles him on occasion; mostly due to his father’s involvement.

It was here, nearly after his first duty station, he found out he was a lot more different that he always believed he was.

As luck would have it, he was stationed in a remote location overseas, near a classified location and hot-bed of trouble. Shortly after serving his second year, with only a few months left of his overseas tour, Senior Airman Delacruz, was caught by surprise along with the rest of his battalion by a well-planned, terrorist attack.

Casualties very quickly escalated at the base, and the forces protecting the compound were completely unprepared for the level of firepower and hate they faced, from the merciless terrorist shooting downed soldiers.

Only slightly injured in the initial attack, Delacruz, picked up a M-16 from a fallen soldier, then decided, he would face the enemy as a Lakota warrior would and ran to offer aid to those facing deadly odds at the gates. He knew there were still men & women (all non-combatants) who hid in several of the remaining secure buildings left behind the devastated defenses.

To this day, as the official story goes, Senior Airman Delacruz, arrived with a parcel of explosives and incendiary grenades. The report filed later that day, “coobborated by several other soldiers” from the Naval Marines manning the gates; tell how he ran through a barrage of enemy fire with an incendiary grenade already glowing white hot in his hand.

After reaching the enemy in less than a split second, the area around where the enemy were dug in and fighting from, lit-up as if the Sun came down from the heavens and kissed the ground.

Quote from a report provided by Staff Sergeant Henry, the surviving lead marine who was one of 8 other soldier witnesses who were present at the battle of________).

“He immediately tracked all enemy fire on to him. That’s right, almost immediately we held fire, in fear of hitting him. Sure enough, we hadn’t waited more than two or three seconds, when we were hit by the pressure wave, and the sight & sound of explosions, just behind where the enemy had dug themselves into.
Yes Sir, I suppose, it was the combined package of grenades, C-4 and incendiaries “we were told” later, he picked up from one of the fallen guards at the gate, that brought those bastards to hell…I mean the enemy to their *expletive* knees in less than 60 seconds.
After our eyes finally adjusted and cleared from the explosions of light he caused, there he was. Standing there in front of us. *Expletive* alive, his skin as dark as the night sky from soot I suppose from the hell he was just in. Yes Sir, he was trailing smoke…like he was a *expletive* an avenging angel come to earth.

Get this, his uniform was nearly, completely shredded and still glowing bright in certain areas. Again, I suppose from the phosphorus he was exposed too. But…somehow, he made it out alive and managed to save our *expletive” bacon.”

After returning to the states and with much fanfare and publicity, Senior Airman Delacruz, received commendations from his command and leaders. Later on, he was awarded The Good Conduct Medal by none other than the President of the United States.

Fact: His “father” immediately made sure to “lock down” any real evidence of what really happened at the battle that took place.

The story of his son’s heroism was still too good to pass up without making “some hay”, as he put it. Even though his father, Hector, was at the time only a Lieutenant Governor of South Dakota; Hector Delacruz chose to publicly hail his son in the public eye as a genuine hero. He made the most of this, and in so doing, won quite a bit of attention and clout in certain circles within Washington DC.

As a Senator now, Hector, is making sure the story of what really transpired with his son overseas is a closely guarded secret.

For his part, Hector is now resigned to work as needed and wherever he's needed, under the control of his Special Task Unit ran by the Executive Branch. This consists of all of the agencies and departments of the federal government, including our armed forces (which are part of the Department of Defense).. Because of his medal and heroism, Commander Hector DelaCruz was recently provided a spot as one of the pilots in the prestigious “Road to Mars” within the Air & Space Force track.

He’s reminded whenever given the opportunity by his father, “Son. You did what any warrior would do to protect his family and friends on the battlefield. You fought bravely and won. There is no way you can go back to be, the same person you originally left as. You are now a Warrior in the Proudest Traditions. You’re on the road to go to a different world.”

To this day, only his father, potentially a handful of witnesses under orders to remain silent, and some in the government, know of what really transpired during that time and that he is also a metahuman.
As a former Marine Special Forces Pilot, Hector Maxwell Delacruz, typical first reaction in combat situations is to assess the largest threat. Followed closely by eliminating said threat, as quickly as possible by or with any means available at his disposal.

New to his powers, Hector is still learning how to manifest them at will (Requires an Activation Powers)

- While with a group of fellow combatants, Hector will first attempt to increases his density to its maximum strength, then takes the most direct approach (by flying) to the enemy. Attempting to interpose himself between his fellow combatants, in order to draw any line-of-fire unto himself, by allowing them time to get into favorable positions.
- In a solo fight, due to his military training and tactics, Hector will keep a level head and attempt to gather as much intel on his enemies/targets prior to committing himself to action. Also, while attempting to find the location of any enemy threat or finding the quickest solution to his current problem, Hector remains in constant contact with his chain-of-command prior to committing himself to "contact with the enemy", if the situation allows it..
- If he's in a situation with civilians and other untrained non-combatants/personnel, Hector will attempt to triage the situation with care, in an attempt to save as many lives as possible without endangering them needlessly any further. Usually, using his ability to "desolidify a wall or obstacle", Hector creates exits in order to get civilians lives out of harms way in the most expedious way.

Many of those he's fought in battle or have opposed him, failed to realize to their detriment, his impressive & highly intelligent repertoire of skills, not including his military training.
Hector is pretty well-adjust, self-assured and nearly fearless. He's willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, if it means he can save lives.

His ultimate dream is to achive a trifecta-goals of becoming an astronaut, a superhero and serving his country as a metahuman civil servant.

He will not shirk his duty and understands what he's capable of doing with his normal and metahuman gifts.

What drives him daily, is what his mother said to him on her dying bed. "Sometimes, the only path is the one before you. Never be afraid when you're doing the right thing."
