Character Name: Genocide Combat Transport Van

APPEARANCE

Description: At nearly 23 feet in length and 9 feet wide, this vehicle is truly impressive.  Carefully camouflaged as anything from a TV van to a bread truck, Genocide can easily move through traffic unnoticed.  Currently an engineering team is working on a system to change the exterior from the inside.  To date all attempts have resulted in rather comical effects.  These failures do not amuse the Black King.

BACKGROUND

The Black King is forever tinkering with one vehicle or another.  The prototype of the current production model of the Genocide Combat Transport Van was designed and built by the Black King himself.  With a few modifications, the van has gone into production at an old Mexican Ford plant that was closed in the '80's.  Picking the whole thing up for a song, Genocide has been building its various vehicles there for nearly a year now.  Every 'employee' of this facility is a trained Genocide agent, even if they ARE locals.  They have been through a plant closing once before and will defend their only source of income with their lives.  It also helps the Genocide pays about five times the normal manufacturing wage.

POWERS

The van is heavily armored to withstand just about anything short of an anti-tank round.  It is equipped with solid tires to prevent puncture and four-point seat belts to protect the passengers from impact injury.  The windshield is the latest in light amplification providing both starlight amplification and heat detection.  The engine is fueled with a special blend that increases the top speed of the vehicle and a nitrous oxide injectors for getaway speeds.  As with all Genocide vehicles, it is equipped with a mutant detector that displays mutant targets on a screen much like a radar.  It acts as a tracking device once it has locked onto a target.  Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on which side of the mutant question you are on, it does not provide a clue as to the powers or power level of the targeted mutant.
Large enough inside for a man to stand the interior is equipped with seating enough for sixteen fully equipped Genocide agents or eight Genocide Combat Units.  Twelve members of the combat team exit through the rear  while the remain four exit through doors on either side.  If carrying Genocide Combat Units, six exit from the rear while the remaining two exit to the side. For quick exits the four rows of seat, two arranged fore and aft, one each of the remaining to either side, are mounted on rails with hydraulics that roll out allowing nearly instant deployment of troops.
The van is armed with a 12.7 mm medium machinegun mounted in a pop up turret.  The weapon is capable of targeting not only ground targets but aerial targets.  It is powerful enough to make it a threat to even super powered foes and its high rate of fire makes it a formidable weapon.
