She left the library, her bare feet silent on the floorboards as she made her way up the stairs, through the decorated halls and into her suite. The spacious bathroom was her goal as she struggled to wrest her mind from the thought of another hour snuggled into warm blankets. Sable peeled her shirt off and ducked into the shower. Her mind cleared quickly as the jets of hot water pulsed onto her body. She ran over her schedule for the day as she toweled off, "God I need a haircut." she murmured to herself. A frown marred her face as she swept her fingers through the dark mane, indulging in a purely feminine grimace as she watched the ragged ends fall past her shoulders. "Hmm . . . bullets," her words almost a sigh as she remembered how her arsenal had become depleted due to the missions she had indulged in while in Seattle. Sable had neglected her weapons awfully while in Seattle, too caught up in the drama to pay proper attention to her weapons. Deliberately, she erased those thoughts from her mind. There was no point in brooding on or regretting things that could not be. With a quick shake of her head, she banished the memory of green eyes that had followed her into sleep and lingered long after. |

Sable pulled a black t-shirt over her head, shaking her hair back as she bent to scoop a coat off the floor. She shrugged on the black jacket and tucked her feet into her boots as she walked out the door, her bag, packed with various weapons held on one finger swung over her shoulder. She would pick up one of Archer's cars on the way out. It always cleared her mind to drive fast and one of those sexy cars would do the job well. Her boots made soft sounds on the wood floors as she walked down the stairs. There was no one around, she noticed, as her eyes glanced around the hall. Everith had probably taken off already. A fond smile crossed Sable's face as she thought of Eve. That girl was quite a character. Sable opened the front door, after plucking keys from the side table. The Diablo would be the one to drive today. A cheerful smile played over her face as Sable walked into the garage, a hand gliding slowly over the slick painted steel of the car. |
