Kyle's father was a lawyer, Kyle's grandfather was a lawyer. So was his great grandfather and great great grandfather. Since coming to America in the 1760's, the Longstreet men have practiced law. Now, the last scion of the
Longstreet, Kyle has followed in his ancestors' footsteps. A brilliant student, he graduated from
high school at 14. By the time he was 16 his was nearing the completion of his schooling at
Harvard Law, then he began to change. At first it was a whisper, not quite heard. Then is became pictures, flashes of places he'd never been. Finally it became emotions, the feeling of those around him. Kyle Longstreet was a mutant.
His mental powers developed quickly but this physical changes did not come until the day the bus drive had the heart attack. Careening down the street, loaded with seventeen innocent passengers, the city bus bore down on the hapless Kyle Longstreet. Something inside him surged,
adrenaline? A hormone? No telling. Kyle grew in the instant from the classic 98 pound
weakling to one of the most powerful men on the planet. With amazing ease, Kyle caught the bus, digging his feet in, slowing it to a stop. After tearing up nearly a hundred feet of pavement, the bus came to a stop only a few feet from a day care center filled with children.
Kyle came to the attention of Ghost Archer when he aided the group
Storm Watch in an encounter with Zodiac. When Storm Watch faded into history, Archer took the boy under this wing. It was during a break from college that Kyle, spending his vacation at the manor, began to question his pre-ordained path in life. A chance meeting on a foggy morning with, of all things, a fallen angel,
altered his life even more.
Fascinated by Everith, an actual manifestation of proof that there is a God, Kyle is prying at the wall she has built for herself. At first it was
curiosity. Then it was sympathy for her plight. Now its attraction. Everith has been more or less trapped in the manor for several years now and Kyle has taken it upon himself to show her the world . . . through the Danger Room.
Now, long past the time for his return to Harvard, Kyle is drifting, unsure of his destiny for the first time in his life.

Quiet, bookish, shy but with a quick mind, Psion as Kyle, is studying law. Recently, however, he is beginning to question his choice in career and is undergoing something of a crisis. Spending most of his time now at the Manor, he is acting as a tutor for the younger students as well as trying to decide his future.
