BACKGROUND
Aaron Wayne was eight years old when he met Marilyn Chak. It was a friendship for all time. Marilyn was always planning to be a Marine Biologist, from the time she saw her first whale standing next to the 8 year old Aaron. She cried on a 13 year old Aaron's shoulder as he sat beside her hospital bed after the accident that nearly cost her a leg and her dream. They studied together long into the night on the eve of the PSAT's and celebrated their scores privately after the results came in. Marilyn stood beside the graves of Aaron's parents holding he hand, comforting him, after their murder. Though their colleges found them separated for the first time, he at UCLA, she at the Scripps Institute, they spent many week ends diving off the California coast. The first person ever to know that Aaron had become Ghost Archer was Marilyn Chak and when Marilyn's daughter was born, Aaron became her god-father.
Now, years later, Marilyn is the Marine Biologist she always wanted to be and Ghost Archer is one of her most ardent contributors. Ever year the two friends spend several weeks diving the most remote parts of the oceans or chasing whale hunters with Green Peace. Many times in the past the Manor has been host to Dr. Chak and her daughter Harriet as Archer maintains a marine biological research lab on the grounds. Dr. Chak has been of some assistance to War Eagle in his research into the technology of the Wild Hunt. Her fondest dream is to bring the healing powers of the Auto-Doc to the world.
